Great fun for those who would rather not sing but still want to play full songs on guitar. This style of guitar will blend the techniques of traditional finger picking artists along with our own on improvisation over twelve bar blues progressions and songs. You will learn to play all the parts, bass, melody, harmony and inside chords with your picking hand. We work from Travis picking blues styles to country styles and everything in between. Once you master the technique you will bring in recordings you enjoy and you will learn to play the music by ear just as they did. This also includes all folk Blues and Ragtime styles and even Classical Guitar. And learn how to take your favorites melodies and put them over chords AKA Chord/Melody styles. (Recommend 1 hour lesson/week plus practice time)
