My love of finger picking guitar styles started with of all people Jorma Kaukonen of Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna fame. That brought me down the path of many Travis style finger pickers, Robert Johnson, Rev. Gary Davis, Blind Blake, Chet Atkins, Doc Watson and many others. I even decided to study Classical Guitar and ended up receiving my BA. Then into all folk finger styles old and new. Its just a great way to play guitar beyond strumming.
