Over the years I have taught myself to play drums and bass, at first by ear but then also how to read. I did this mainly because they are fun to play and as a teacher found that I can teach these instruments and over the years have been able to help put students together to create bands. Its great to be able to show students how to put all the pieces together and create a groove or play any song from start to finish.
